Rubbish, Rubbish everywhere

We pulled a load of trash out of the Govan Graving Docks this week to be 'redeveloped' as part of The Govan Armada. Most unusual item found: one red boxing glove

We also found one clog (flower print), two lampshades, many footballs, bottles, earrings, toaster, and plastic flowers. (We left the toaster).

As we were pulling wet timber out of the largest dock,  a red van parked on the street and dumped a load of trash on the road outside--there's a big pile of stuff on the street, which eventually makes its way down into the river, into the dockyard. The pile contains everything from furniture to tyres, which are then used as fuel for fires out on the docks themselves.

I wish I'd been faster with my camera as I'd like to publish the picture of that van's license plate.
